Mission

Lift Up KC Youth Organization is here to develop the youth of the Kansas City Metro area. We are here to be a vessel to launch Kansas City area high school students into adulthood with a proper foundation in place. We offer services to help youth achieve their goals of obtaining a higher education though tutoring, ACT/SAT Prep and Financial Assistance to ensure youth that are part of our program can take these required exams and score well. We Also encourage our youth to be great citizens though various community outreach services such as peer-tutoring, homeless outreach and many other community outreach services. Our Fall and Summer youth basketball program provides teaching, training and development opportunities to youth in the Kansas City area.

Team KC Youth Basketball Program

Team KC Basketball provides competitive basketball teams for girls and boys in grades 4-12. The program includes organized practices and individual workouts, operated by coaches who mentor the student-athletes. The teams participate in city, regional and national tournaments. The travel, cultural events and college visits are opportunities they would not otherwise receive. The high school participants must participate in the high school and college mentoring activities. Team coaches serve as mentors, academic advisors and parent's liaisons. Student Athletes are required to perform community service and attend mentoring and tutoring activities.

Students

ACT/SAT Preparation, Practice & Exams we are looking to offer our students the opportunity to prepare take practice exams and to take the ACT/SAT Tests. We provide Practice exams and online training for successful completion of this exam. Once a student is ready we pay for the actual exam for youths in underprivileged situations.

Tutoring- We are looking to offer Bi-Monthly peer led tutoring for students that need help in core subjects (Math, Science, English & Social Studies). This program allows us to give peer tutors valuable community service hours and an opportunity to build their college application resume.
