Programs and results
What we aim to solve
Funding, as a newly formed Nonprofit funding is or primary need. We are reaching out to more perspective sponsors, along with educating ourselves on social media marketing. Social media marketing is essential to reaching more sponsors/donors quicker.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Youth Development
Mentorship to the youth in our program along with community assistance. We use basketball as a platform to get their attention and gain their respect. Once we have their attention we prepare them to compete at quality basketball tournaments that ultimately lead to performing well at National and State Championship tournaments. We mentor them to take ownership of their community and show them by volunteering for causes we deem worthy to assist our community with growth.
Skills Development / Open Gym
Sandhills Machine has partnered with the Boys and Girls Club of the Sandhills to provide a stable environment for youth to learn the game of basketball. Volunteers from both organizations supervise the instruction of individual defensive and offensive drills, along with team building concepts every Sunday.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
To teach our Youth the importance of Community, of Togetherness! Additional goals are secure funding for uniforms, better training equipment and the use of training facilities. Equipment funding would go towards a Dr. Dish shooting machine and Vertimax training platforms which are used to develop athleticism.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We will continue to grow our brand The Machine, continue to seek sponsorship and donations through multiple avenues.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Our biggest sponsorship went to purchasing uniforms for all 5 teams, we will work to continue that relationship and see if a Dr. Dish or Vertimax is in the works.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We accomplished sending 5 teams to compete in 11+ tournaments this season. That includes each one attending State Championships and two or more National Championships, two teams competing on the Prep Hoops Passion Region Circuit. Each team was successful in its own right with the class of 2024 winning seven Nationals and six State Championship, the class of 2021 winning a State Championship, the class of 2022 competing at the Jr NBA World Championship Regionals and winning the Prep Hoops Passion Region Championship, and each of the 58 players showing growth, development, and maturity.
