What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

While the last decade of conflict and instability in the Middle East has resulted in large numbers of people converting to Christianity, the region’s churches have been gripped with significant challenges. Many church leaders have fled the country for security and safety reasons, creating a large spiritual leadership vacuum in the region. Many of these new believers come with varied cultural and religious values that are not aligned with Biblical principles and can cause division within the church body. In addition, the church is also striving to equip the women in their congregations who have become the sole providers for their families and are having to step into leadership roles in their communities.

Five powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?

The mission of Ananias House is to respond to the leadership crisis by equipping pastors and church leaders with theological training and strategic support so they may empower others to teach, strengthening the local church to fulfill its mission.

Ananias House serves to respond to the leadership crisis by empowering pastors and church leaders through biblical doctrinal training and strategic support. This is done so the leaders may equip others to teach and disciple, strengthening the local church to fulfill its mission. Ananias House has launched a training program to equip selected Middle Eastern and North African (MENA) Women to be godly, competent, and confident leaders. Areas of training include: personal spiritual growth through discipleship, leadership development, trauma healing & counseling, and economic development. In order to provide adequate and safe meeting places, separate registered spaces are needed. Ananias House helps locate and acquire buildings for believers to gather in a safe place to conduct church life and activities. We, along with other partner organizations & churches, have provided relief supplies in the form of food rations, medical assistance, heaters and blankets, to thousands of families in the region, including local refugees. Through a school partnership, Ananias House helps support the educational system and children’s programs that offer godly biblical teachings in a Christian environment to over 200 students. We currently provide financial assistance to many of these students by covering a percentage of the cost of school fees, supplies and transportation. Ananias House is equipping the local church to reach its goal to offer the Word of God to every person they meet. We have succeeded in getting a legal permit to locally print the Bible and other Christian books and have printed hundreds of thousands of copies. These Bibles are distributed to not only people in the country, but throughout the entire region.

Ananias House is capable of meeting its goals through partnerships with local and foreign churches, training of local and foreign Pastors and Leaders, and continued relationships with like minded individuals and organizations.

Ananias House tracks its progress through the number of Pastors trained, then umber of Women trained, the number of churches planted, and the number of front line workers placed in churches.

Ananias House has trained 756 Pastors, fed 600 families, planted 82 churches, and equppied
