What we aim to solve
Crucial Productions is all about teaching you Christianity so you can pass it on. We don’t want to just give you information and facts and data about the Bible. We want to introduce you to the essence of Christianity and who it’s all about – Jesus! Our goal isn’t just to teach you the contents of the Bible, but to read and understand it through the lens of Jesus. He was convinced that the Bible was all about Him. And so are we!
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Bible in 5
If you are a pastor starting a book study for Sunday School, a parent leading devotions with the family, a friend studying the Bible with another friend, a small group studying a book of the Bible, or simply studying the Bible on your own, this project is for you!
Each video in this video series will teach you a book of the Bible in 5 minutes or less. That's 66 videos, plus 3 additional videos that cover the New Testament, Old Testament and the entire Bible, for a total of 69 videos, minimum, in this series. And it will take us a couple years to do it! We'll be doing a lot of other stuff along the way to point you to Jesus, but the Bible in 5 is where we intend to invest our resources at first.
Each 5 minute video will be released with:
an outline to be used in Bible study
a 30 minute podcast with the producers and writers explaining the choices made in creating the episode
a full transcript
a blog article on our website with further resources for study
As support grows for the project, we'd like to expand in the following ways:
translate videos into other languages, either for captions, or a full-blown reproduction
produce additional versions of each video, such as animated or kinetic text
We're doing this because our goal isn't just to teach you the contents of the Bible, but to read and understand it in such a way that it puts your focus squarely on Jesus. He was convinced that the Bible was all about Him. And so are we! Support us so that, together, we can tell others this Good News!

Goals & Strategy
Learn about the organization's key goals, strategies, capabilities, and progress.
Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
To teach people to trust in Christ alone for their salvation.
To connect them with their local church, if they aren't already.
To encourage people to read and memorize the Bible.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We will accomplish our goals primarily via online media resources, such as articles, social media, videos and podcasts. But we are not limited to digital resources alone. Because we partner with pastors and teachers, there will be many opportunities for face to face teaching and training as well.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We partner with pastors, congregations and laypeople to accomplish our goals. We do not operate on our own, but come alongside others, to train or support them in the work they are doing of sharing Jesus Christ with their neighbors.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We have four videos released in our major project - The Bible in 5 - which will take each book of the Bible and teach it to you in five minutes.
We have a semi-regular podcast called Crucial Conversations that teaches people how to see the world through the lens of Christ.
We have two weekly Bible studies that have covered Galatians, Ephesians, John, 1 Peter, Micah and much more in the past three years.
