Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Equine Assisted Therapy
Little Blessings Veteran and Community Outreach of Temperance, Michigan is a non-profit organization established in 2018. We provide an extensive 50-week Equine Assisted Program for post-service Veterans struggling with Military Sexual Trauma (MST), PTSD and civilian integration. We use the globally recognized Equine Assisted Growth and Learning Association (EAGALA) program where certified mental health professionals, equine specialists, and intuitive horse behaviors provide a "safe space" for veterans to determine their own future paths forward.
