What we aim to solve
Immigrant, refugee and low-income individuals face multiple challenges of access to knowledge-sharing, network, and support. MENTEE provides global mentors, opportunities through universities, and mental health supports to accelerate their goals and give each individual the opportunity to live better, healthier lives. This program achieves this through an online platform and supportive community with additional programs that help everyone in our ecosystem grow. We partner freely with other global NGOs to align with our UN SDG values and act as a multiplier affect of change.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Each member of our community, from mentee to global mentor to NGO and institutional partner, is offered opportunities to improve themselves while engaging with others. From the growth conversations that take place between those who need to learn something and those who will learn while giving to our monthly Mind & Body Healing sessions, from our professional development series to our SDG Global Discussions and our university accreditation program, we provide a rich and responsive environment that allows all of us to get the support we need and find our way to a better, healthier life and world together.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
MENTEE is a UN SDG partner organization, so we work with other global NGOs to accomplish our SDG goals and theirs. MENTEE enlists the global community and brings in resources from those who want to give back so we can provide the best possible training and support while also fueling sharing and connecting between our immigrant, refugee and low-income youth and the broader community.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Currently MENTEE is only limited by funding. We look forward to further investment to enlarge our capacity and scale our programming.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
MENTEE offers a network of global specialists and a supportive program for people who are 18 and older and disadvantaged by our global systems. Global mentors, speaking a collective 33 languages, volunteer their time to give free consulting, professional skills and knowledge sharing, guidance, and support sessions for mentees who come to us through our NGO partnerships. Our program empowers our mentees by training them with the power of choice - they are guided to create their own support system. Mentors and mentees receive monthly mind and body healing sessions as well as the opportunity to join in our developer space to build local and global projects aligned with the SDG goals. Through MENTEE's Global SDG Discussion Series, we address global challenges by lifting the voices of our mentees and NGO network to find solutions with decision makers that impact our mentees' lives and the health of their community.
