What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Livestock animals, especially pigs, are funneled into the shelter systems at an increasing rate; notwithstanding the sideline scams of micro pigs and other unscrupulous breeding that leads to livestock abandoned. Steampunk Farms actively seeks out animals that have been rejected from larger rescues and finds a family to adopt the animal or have the animal transported to Steampunk Farms for healing and preparation for the adoption networks.

Charting impact

Steampunk Farms aspires to foster compassion by establishing itself as the foremost developer of compassionate curricula, instructional content, and educational resources within and beyond the rescue community. Our dedication to optimizing shelter rescue protocols involves the creation of user-friendly, cloud-protected platforms that simplify the process of connecting at-risk animals with suitable homes. Our vision encompasses the development of a versatile, eco-integrated, rescue-sanctuary model based on resilient sustainability strategies that enhance resident care in the face of market fluctuations. Our vision also encompasses immersive educational experiences, offering visitors and program participants a comprehensive understanding of our environment and their places in it, while continuously developing pasturing capabilities and sustainable land management practices.

Steampunk Farms is dedicated to enhancing compassionate animal care, expanding shelter diversion and adoption programs, promoting vegan principles and sustainable stewardship, and improving sanctuary operations. Additionally, we focus on creating compassionate curricula, optimizing shelter rescue protocols, expanding capacity and pasturing capabilities, and enhancing visitor experiences and community engagement. By implementing these strategies and fostering strong relationships with the local community, we aim to create a lasting positive impact on both animals and people.
