Build Power Workshops

To support front-line energy resilience, Footprint Project plans and implements solar generator assembly workshops with first, second, and community responders. Participants leave each workshop with a deeper understanding of solar electricity, along with the equipment and expertise to deploy their solar generators for disaster power outages and resilience events.

Population(s) Served
Economically disadvantaged people
Victims of disaster
Emergency responders

After disasters, we rapidly deploy mobile solar generators to power up responders and survivors. Clean energy for medical devices, lighting up shelters, and other equipment is imperative for building back greener.

Population(s) Served

When building our solar generators, we reuse second-life solar, battery and electrical components to keep them out of landfills.

Population(s) Served

Rent Solar is a a General Benefit Corp that provides mobile solar energy and solar generator units available for rent or for sale, making clean, solar energy accessible for anyone. When our equipment is not deployed to disasters, it is made available for rental to festivals, construction crews and other outdoor events that would normally rely on gas-powered generators. Proceeds support Footprint Project's mission is to power disaster relief operations with solar energy.
