Brave Sky Ranch Inc

Brave Sky Ranch aims to increase awareness of and respect for the true mentors that equines were created to be; to affect personal positive change and hope for youth who participate in our mentoring program; to positively equip family members with knowledge and strategies for facing life's challenges both as individuals and as a team; and to see a positive change in our community as it grows and improves in value and magnitude.

At Brave Sky Ranch, natural horsemanship mentalities and practices are used to interact with horses for every participant in the program, which directly influences the level of respect and knowledge a human holds for a horse. We introduce mentored youth to horses and foster a healthy relationship between horse and youth/family through natural horsemanship, general ranch life/activities, and human mentors.

Brave Sky Ranch has horses, mentors, a facility, THE DESIRE to serve and THE NEED for an organization like ours. We love the quote, "See a need, fill a need." We are always pursuing knowledge and experience, as well as looking for every opportunity to help and encourage.

Brave Sky Ranch has helped struggling local farms/ranches, assisted in other nonprofit startups, volunteered for other local nonprofit programs, mentored several young people, rescued horses, and supported local individuals and families in need.

We need more funding and support to continue in this course - we have hit a ceiling without funds and volunteers, and are currently at capacity with the progress listed above. We are struggling to become better known in the community - we give selflessly and whole-heartedly where the needs are.
