What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Core Program
As an all-volunteer, foster based rescue we are dedicated to the welfare of German Shepherd Dogs. Working cooperatively with shelters and other organizations, we provide resources for GSDs to move from life-threatening situations to permanent, loving homes with qualified owners. We are a resource to the public on the advantages of adopting dogs from shelters and rescues, the need for spaying/neutering dogs and the proper care and training, and other aspects of the breed. We accomplish these goals through our Regional Dog Operations of Sacramento, Peninsula, and South Bay, where all evaluations, transports, and fostering occurs under the management of experienced, dedicated teams. Adopters are supported by Adoption Counselors who interface with our Dog Operations teams to find the best forever match for each dog.
