"Offline" social activities and events for youth
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
For the first time in generations, our kids aren't learning how to socialize in person. These days, too many young people are staring at a screen on their smartphone, tablet computer or another electronic device. Studies show that nearly all adolescents spend hours a day on smartphones engaged in social media and many are viewing questionable content, all while completely unsupervised, to the detriment of their emotional and social well being.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Youth Events
We host a variety of "offline" events for kids, pre-teens, and teens. There are no electronics allowed at these events.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our mission is to improve the social and emotional well-being of youth. To do this we encourage youth to spend less time on electronic devices, like smartphones, and more time at “offline" activities and events.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We provide entertaining "offline" events for youth to participate in, encouraging them to foster and maintain in-person peer relationships. The events range from light sporting events (flag football, kickball) and pool parties to art classes and discussion groups.
We are pursuing funding to open our own Youth Center, where they can do homework and study, interact with their peers, eat, receive counseling, and mentorship. The Center will also incorporate our upcoming Teen Tech Initiative, afterschool events, food, and more. The Youth Center will be available to any youth in the area, including those from underserved populations.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We are partnered with a neighborhood organization to host events for preteens and teens, which are facilitated by our two Board members and volunteers.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?

We are in talks with the local Parks & Recreation district for our organization to host events at their facilities. We're also in talks with the local school district for our organization to host events at school facilities, after school hours, with the ability to market to parents of all age-appropriate students in the district.
