What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
House of Hope
House of Hope provides care for some of the most vulnerable children in Kenya. The children helped are given sponsorships to provide for a well-rounded, excellent education, skills training program, Christian chaplaincy program, and educational related needs in order to offer each child hope for the future. Educational related needs include school fees, supplies, uniforms, meals, basic medical care and 24/7 care while attending school. Starfish Kenya and House of Hope partner closely to provide care for the whole child physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. The educational levels of the children under sponsorship can range from early primary through university.
St. Anna Day Care Centre
St. Anna Care Centre provides care for some of the most vulnerable children in the Murang'a district of Kenya. The children helped are given sponsorships to provide for a well-rounded excellent education, Christian programs, and educational related needs in order to offer each child hope for the future. Educational related needs include school fees, supplies, uniforms, meals, basic medical care and 24/7 care (for boarded students) while attending school. Starfish Kenya and St. Anna Care Centre partner closely to provide care for the whole child physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. The educational levels of the children under sponsorship can range from preschool through university.
