Lincoln Veterans Memorial Coalition Incorporated

Honoring Those Who Have Served

Mission

Our coalition is committed to raising private funds, or construction materials and services, to construct this new Memorial located at McBean Park in Lincoln, California. Lincoln residents will have a dedicated place to express their gratitude for those who have served, currently, serve; but further, to deeply honor those who have lost their lives in the service of the United States. It is our goal to construct a Memorial that honors our Veterans’ while at the same time promotes civic pride.

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Placer County Veterans Monument

The goal of the Placer County Veterans Monument is to honor our revered KIAs and MIAs, as well as our active duty, reserve, retired and honorably discharged veterans. Now, Placer County will have a great place to celebrate patriotic holidays with large gatherings. The City of Lincoln teamed up with our coalition to choose a spot in Lincoln’s most popular public venue, McBean Memorial Park.

It is important to provide locations for events that become traditions for the new and growing families as well as the established ones. Community values are a reflection of family values that will be strengthened through the events that are held at the Monument.
