What we aim to solve
The supply of Service Dogs to the disabled at present is not meeting their needs. Your Service Dog Inc strives to address this need and ensure that each disabled person (in need of a Service Dog) has the opportunity to have a Service Dog who helps mitigate their disability regardless of their financial situation.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Program 1 - Handler Training
Our aim is to enable people with disabilities to have the skills and support necessary to train their own Service Dog Partners. We offer an online school, and hands-on or online training with a professional trainer. Sliding-scale scholarships are available for the online school to those who are eligible.
Your Service Dog Inc’s Fully Trained Service Dog Program
Your Service Dog Inc’s Fully Trained Service Dog Program places Fully Trained Service Dogs with disabled clients who for various reasons are not able to train their own Service Dog.
Your Service Dog Inc's Prospect Evaluation and Placement Program
Your Service Dog Inc's Prospect Evaluation and Placement Program selects suitable candidate puppies (or sometimes mature dogs) from shelters, rescues, or donated canines. During the evaluation period, the dog lives with and is cared for by a YSDI Evaluator as we assess the dog's suitability while s/he is taught the Basic Foundation Skills course at Your Service Dog School.
Those puppies and Dogs who make it through the Evaluation period of our intensive training Program and are deemed suitable candidates to be placed as Service Dog In Training Prospects are then placed with a carefully selected compatible Human Partner at a cost of $0.00 to the person with a disability who is receiving the dog.
The puppies or dogs who don't make the grade in our Program are placed as Emotional Support Animals or Companion Dogs.
Our program seeks to help disabled people everywhere strive to reach their Full Potential by utilizing Canine assistance to mitigate their disabilities. As part of this endeavour, we assist them in in every way we can to train their own Full Potential Service Dog.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
We strive to help our clients reach their Full Human Potential by utilizing canine assistance and assisting the Handler in Training Their Own Full Potential Service Dog.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We aim to have a footprint in each of the states in the USA. We have already begun to build a Volunteer Force to this end and have at present a virtual footprint in over half the States.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We believe that as an organization we can do this. We hope to have a footprint in each state in the USA and people working on the ground and holding events in many of these States within the next 5 years. We are at the present well on the way towards reaching this specific goal.
We aim to grow by at least 100 students at Your Service Dog School in 2020. We will continue to grow in the years that follow, through our advertisements and the quality of the service we provide - this is a conservative estimate of our expected growth.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We were once, not so long ago, just one lady with a desire to see people in need of a Service Dog be able to afford to have one. That lady was our Founder, and in the beginning, she worked alone, training and assisting clients to Train their own Full Potential Service Dog. As time went by, she discovered that the need was so great that she needed the help of volunteers. Initially, some volunteers gathered around Lelah to help her in her endeavor, and in 2018 the organization of Your Service Dog Inc became a reality and a Nonprofit 501c3
Since then, we have opened an online school that assists our clients in training their own Full Potential Service Dog. Today, Your Service Dog School has four Trainers and Your Service Dog Coach Lelah Sullivan assisting Evaluators and Handlers through the various courses at yourservicedogschool.com.
We are also placing Service Dog in Training Prospect puppies and Dogs with Evaluators and Handlers. We have trained five Fully Trained Service Dogs to date who are ADA compliant and performing the necessary tasks for their Handlers to mitigate their Handlers Disability. We have also assisted in the training of well over a Thousand Service Dogs to date.
