What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
The goal of the Brielle Grace foundation is be able to provide the financial support for those to help with early screening . Provide classes and workshops for those battling cancer can meet other like patients and they together can provide the emotional support they need during their battle.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Currently Brielle Grace has implemented a live calendar thru our website which is updated with over 12 events for patients to participate for free. Free Yoga , Rake , Meditation, healthy cooking classes which much more to follow.
We have volunteers who are recognized in their field donating their time to support the foundation and patients and families we help. From the Culinary Institute of American top Yoga and Nutritionist. We are provding a well rounded program.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
While at first helping a small Hudson valley Community and growing outwards we are able to provide to this small region at first. Last years Brielle grace expanded into funding research facility / Example Memorial Sloan Kettering breast cancer and Metastatic cancer research program to help see a world without cancer one day. Bringing and pooling the local businesses together to support us as a community will give us that backbone finances we need thru fundraisers.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
So far we have accomplished this by paying for over 30 woman's expenses in different ways . Medical bills can add up fast and copay's do also. The foundation has provided for these patients bills. Patients were on the verge of getting their cars towed due to back payment . Brielle Grace was able to provide for these payments and several future payment so they would have a car to go to treatments. Another pt was behind on their utility bill fro over three month. Brielle grace provide for these payments and 2 future payment so they could focus on healing not on how they will keep their house warm a basic necessity.
Next Brielle Grace is Instituting a Addition Grant for children affected by breast cancer and is setting up a scholarship to provide the school for the winner of this essay. Education is a key in sucess and Brielle Grace breast cancer foundation will be providing this opportunity for a shining star.
