The problems in the community were homelessness; poverty, lack of access to quality education, housing crime, violence to the youth, and seniors who needed food and social services. The HR Butler Community Foundation Inc was organize, to lead and participate in community base programs that uplift, encourage and educate our youth, senior citizens, to host back to school drives to assist families that are in crisis, to provide meals to the homeless and provide scholarships to high school students that are graduating and in need of assistance, also to have the right to engage in benevolent work; to promote fellowship and corporation between those are or may become associated with this organization.

The HR Butler Community Foundation Inc programs are designed to assist families that are in crisis, to provide meals to the homeless and provide scholarships to high school students that are graduating and in need of assistance, also to engage in benevolent work; to promote fellowship and corporation between those are or may become associated with this organization. H. R. Butler Community Foundation Inc. knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives.
