Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Promise Hill Project strives to create a world in which all people have equal access to basic human needs, in addition to the opportunity to thrive within their communities.

Promise Hill Project is driven by the vision of creating a world in which all people have access to basic human needs and the opportunity to thrive within their communities. We have established a plan for growth , focusing on the poorest states in America (New Mexico, Louisiana and Kentucky, as well as other states in need of service such as Texas and Ohio) Kenya and India, as well as the expansion of programming to grow both the geographic scale and types of supports extended to needy areas.

Key to this growth is proper fundraising, a solid marketing plan, a conservative but realistic financial forecast, a robust network of "on the ground" distribution supports and the identification of key funders to help move the organization forward.

Our biggest impacts are consistently providing those products that fall under personal care and basic needs.
We continue to reach thousands to provide food, water, period products and personal care products.

Our "Next" just happened, as we have funded two water projects- one in India and one in Kenya.

We are now determining how we can work more closely with our Promise Hill Partners (Designated shelters, community centers and schools) to make an even bigger impact.

Data
  • We ask team members to identify racial disparities in their programs and / or portfolios.
  • We disaggregate data to adjust programming goals to keep pace with changing needs of the communities we support.
  • We have long-term strategic plans and measurable goals for creating a culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
Policies and processes
  • We seek individuals from various race backgrounds for board and executive director/CEO positions within our organization.
  • We help senior leadership understand how to be inclusive leaders with learning approaches that emphasize reflection, iteration, and adaptability.
  • We engage everyone, from the board to staff levels of the organization, in race equity work and ensure that individuals understand their roles in creating culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
