Mission

A Hero For Kids is a Veteran founded ALL VOLUNTEER 501(c)(3). We are focused on helping to make Osceola County a better, happier place for our children, our Veterans, our first responders and our community. We work towards our mission by collecting backpacks, school supplies, books, Holiday gifts and hygiene items...which we then distribute during events or at schools. We offer fellow Veterans an opportunity to join us in these "days of service" which gives them that renewed "sense of mission" and "purpose" which many find missing after leaving the military. Promoting literacy by distributing books; providing backpacks and school supplies to children/families in need; providing hygiene items to members of the community in need; distributing school uniforms and clothing plus more!
