What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Scanning Partners Across Missouri
As of December, 2022, Missouri Lost & Found Paws has provided 34 universal microchip scanners to animal control facilities and police departments across Missouri. These organizations are amongst the First Responders to assist found pets and return them back to their rightful owners. This has been a wonderful partnership to connect our organizations together.
It is crucial for animal control facilities to have a universal microchip scanner. Their organization is tasked with managing the stray population for their established jurisdiction. Most stray pets are actually pets who have become lost. Our communities can be reunited with lost pets quickly if a pet is microchipped.
Police departments work hard to keep our communities safe. Most police officers are pet lovers, and are very committed to helping reunite a pet that has been found in their community.
