Mission

Our Purpose: To see the fullness of freedom reimagined, restored, and reclaimed for survivors of sex trafficking. Through the context of wilderness, survivors continue their journey of healing within a community of survivors and are guided by both wilderness and mental health professionals. By combining the benefits of adventure and experiential therapy with multiple evidenced-based individual and group therapy modalities, participants are empowered to reclaim a sense of agency and create new visions of what their future can be.

Freedom that is misunderstood and misrepresented is not freedom. People everywhere remain captive to trauma and shame and this often-invisible captivity keeps broken people broken and fuels generational pain, abuse, and exploitation. We believe that holistic healing (emotional, spiritual, physical) is possible for all people and that this is the key to seeing the fullness of freedom reimagined, restored, and reclaimed in our world. Our purpose is bringing this freedom to life through our work with survivors of sex trafficking.

Trauma Therapy Intensives

These trips are clinically guided wilderness therapy trips designed to create supportive space for survivors to engage their healing journey in intentional ways. Through adventure activities, therapeutic groups, and a challenge by choice philosophy, survivors are empowered and supported to reimagine, restore, and reclaim their stories. Currently, these trips are held in wilderness areas in both Wyoming and Colorado and are open to adult survivors from around the country.
