Young children in underprivileged areas do not have a lot of exposure to good STEM education. These important 21'st century skills need to be taught early and these students need the opportunity so they are not locked out of this job market in the future. Additionally teachers need better resources and training. An effective solution to this problem has been to offer teachers a 1 hour class STEM lab visit. The students and teachers adore the hands-on labs and teachers can request many different types of labs such as: coding, microscope exploration, rocket build and launch, the labs are endless. Each lab has enough resources for each student to have the tools necessary for the STEM exploration. This helps increase the participation of all students especially girls. STEM exploration activity materials are left with the classrooms so that the teachers can continue teaching the hands-on lab to their students and reuse the materials and what they have learned the next year. We provide the schools we serve with standards aligned curriculum and we leave them with the high quality lab materials and resources made in collaboration with 34 top universities. Young students need more exposure to STEM! We have visited over 4,000 classrooms to date and kids adore the fun with STEM.
