What we aim to solve
Cozy Coats for Kids® believes that the gift of a brand-new winter coat in a child’s favorite color gives them confidence and improves their overall wellness to help them thrive and achieve their goals. Additionally, a brand-new winter coat keeps children warm and healthy. It’s downright unhealthy to go without a coat in cold weather, and although the solution to dress adequately in colder months seems simple, when the family budget is tight, a warm coat doesn’t always make the cut.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Annual Coat Delivery Program
Cozy Coats for Kids® provides underserved children the opportunity to pick a coat in their favorite color and style and then delivers it directly to them for free. We believe that giving children a brand-new winter coat — knowing it was chosen and delivered specifically for them — instills confidence and improves their overall wellness to help them thrive and achieve their goals.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
By providing children with the opportunity to choose their own brand-new winter coat, Cozy Coats for Kids® aims to instill confidence and self-worth in the children who receive them.
Cozy Coats for Kids® believes that when children know that the winter new coat he or she receives was one they chose for themselves, it can give them added confidence to help them face the challenges that any child experiences, yet the gift may have an even greater impact.
A brand-new winter coat can help keep a child warm and healthy, of course. But when the family budget is tight, a new coat doesn’t always make the cut. CCFK wants to make sure kids know that they don’t have to go without the care and comfort that a new coat signifies, in addition to the practical purpose of keeping the child warm in winter.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Cozy Coats for Kids’ key strategies for improving the well-being of children include calling upon members of the inspection industry to identify a need in their local community and coordinating with a local organization to distribute the coats.
Additionally, Cozy Coats for Kids® distributes only brand-new winter coats (no used hand-me-downs), with the intent of instilling confidence and promoting wellness in the children who receive them.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Cozy Coats for Kids® was founded on the belief that by bringing members of the inspection industry together, their combined charitable works can positively impact their local communities, especially the children. CCFK is led by individuals with vast experience in the inspection industry and nonprofit field, allowing them to rally members of the inspection industry to give back to their local communities and help those in need, including friends and neighbors, as well as schools, community centers, and outreach programs.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
With the money raised through donations made by inspection industry professionals, Cozy Coats for Kids® has successfully delivered hundreds of brand-new winter coats across the United States and Canada to children in need. The charitable organization has also successfully worked with many inspectors who have identified a need in their community and coordinated the distribution of coats.
Cozy Coat for Kids® will continue to provide brand-new winter coats each year to identified recipients, including those in schools and outreach programs that need long-term support because of a general lack of resources. At the same time, the charitable organization aims to expand its network of supporters, volunteers, and coat recipients.
