Programs and results
What we aim to solve
The biggest problem for our Charity, Music Angels Education Fund, Inc. is the number of charities in our community. We are small and it appears that most of the available funds go to Charities that have been in business for 10-25 years. We also don't have grant writers and possibly need help in finding Grant writers that are not too expensive. Our Board is all volunteer and that is how we have kept our expenses low. The Pandemic COVID-19 forced us to cancel 4 Concerts which yield the most dollars for our Charity.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Music Angels Education Fund, Inc.
Children's parents make application for their child for financial assistance with their Music Lessons. Children must keep their scholastic studies at "B" or above and keep their lesson appointments with their respective music teachers.
They start with a 3 month program and parents are required to make a small financial contribution to ensure the child is serious in their pursuit of music education. Music Angels, will also make available instruments , if needed.
Lifting 6 more children into Music

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Music Angels Education Fund wants to reach and support as many children as out budget will permit. No child should be left out of music education due to financial constraints.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We have created a "Sponsor a Student" program wherein Donors can direct their financial contributions directly to a student of their choice.
We are partnering with other agencies- i.e. Homeless Children Foundation to reach & serve more children.
At the moment we are engaging young people who can post our information and activities on Facebook, Twitter, etc,
Social media is so important in getting the word out. We have been accepted by Facebook to create a button so people can donate thru them with PayPal and credit cards.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We have an opportunity to bring in top musicians who will perform in our concerts and also teach students. This has already begun and we will develop this further in 2021. There is a lot of interest in Music Angels Education Fund.
Our base of donors are very supportive of our efforts, but we are reaching out to more foundations to assist in reaching our goals.
One area we are attempting to cultivate partnering with Autism groups & Music Therapy Professionals in order to reach & support broader population.
W have received instrument donations and if our students don't need them, we will sell them and use the funds for supporting children with a desire for Music lessons.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We have 3 beginner violin students with a Charter school partnership.. One percussion student is taking private lessons and plans to apply to Berklee School of Music 's Summer program.
