The Young Airmans Association
Educating Youth Through Aviation
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
Our organization will expose young men and women to the wonders of aviation. They will be taught by Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Certified Flight Instructors (CFI). They will learn the principles of flight and experience actual flying and log flight hours. This will put these selected youth in a superior position, to be marketable in the Airline Industry which is in need of pilots. We want to introduce the opportunities in aviation which can make a positive economic impact on underrepresented communities.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
United Youth Aviators
UYA in conjunction with The Young Airmans Association ( 501c3)
is a new and exciting summer camp to expose youth to the wonders of aviation. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Certified Flight Instructors (CFI) will teach the principles of flight in a fun camp environment. These youth will experience actual flying, and log flight hours. They will be achieving their Airmans Certificate (Private Pilot License). In 2020 we expanded our programs to teaching on Flight Simulators and a weekend Flight Academy.
The Young Airmans Association ( 501c3) will help those youth not afforded the opportunity.
