Ellie Mae Farm Sanctuary

Vegan for the planet, our health, and most importantly the animals.

aka Ellie Mae Farm Sanctuary   |   Storrs Mansfield, CT   |  https://www.elliemaefarmsanctuary.org/

Mission

Ellie Mae Farm Sanctuary is a farmed animal sanctuary that is dedicated to rescuing, caring, and providing a home for neglected, abused, and abandoned farmed animals. The animals will be cared for and allowed to live out their lives in sanctuary. EMFS will create a space where the public can come visit and connect with our animal residents that are most commonly killed, exploited, and abused in animal agriculture. By giving farmed animals the chance to live out their lives in sanctuary and by telling their stories, we will advocate for veganism in hopes to reduce the suffering of all beings and to educate the public on making better choices for their health, the environment, and most importantly the animals.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Ellie Mae Farm Sanctuary is a farmed animal sanctuary that is dedicated to rescuing, caring, and providing a home for neglected, abused, and abandoned farmed animals. The animals will be cared for and allowed to live out their natural lives in sanctuary.

EMFS will create a space where the public can come visit and connect with the animal residents that are most commonly killed, exploited, and abused in animal agriculture. By stories, we will advocate for veganism in hopes to reduce the suffering of all beings and to educate the public on making better choices for their health, the environment, and most importantly the animals.

Our strategies include increasing popularity and presence on social media so that more people will learn about our organization and mission and want to support, donate, volunteer, etc. to EMFS.

By having people connect with the animals we would like people to learn more about the farmed animals and connect with them so that they can one day become vegan/cut back on animal products.

We are motivated by telling the animal's stories. We continue to learn and fundraise as much as possible and will always continue to do so - for the animals.

In June of 2021 we purchased 26 acres of land to grow the organization. We have rescued a total of 60 animals so far and hope to continue to rescue more animals in need.
