BBSOAS Parent Support Facebook Page

Our closed Facebook page is for parents of children diagnosed with NR2F1 mutations as well as parents who have the diagnosis themselves. It is managed by a NR2F1 board member and social media chair. It is a private online community offering parent-to-parent support as well as a place to connect with the scientific advisors, doctors and researchers involved with the NR2F1 gene.

The NR2F1 Board facilitates a bi-monthly support group Zoom call for families living with BBSOAS. Parents and caregivers are given time to share their experiences in a supportive and safe environment. For each call, we invite a parent or patient to begin the group meeting by sharing their story based on a particular topic for that meeting. The mission is empower parents and patients in crafting their stories for effective parent/patient-led advocacy.
