What we aim to solve
Schools are cracking down on students with discipline problems by implementing a record number of “out-of-school suspensions.” Do such suspensions do more harm than good. Rather than asking, “Why did this student misbehave?” it is more useful to ask, “What does this student need to know and be able to do to behave appropriately?” Our Student Assistance Program assists students, families, and staff in the identification, and removal of barriers to student development and learning. The Student Assistance Program recognizes that a student’s academic success could be directly impacted by his mental health and other life stress. It is our goal to assist students through a partnership involving their parents and educators. We utilize collaborative prevention, intervention, and post intervention services in the accomplishment of our mission. REDEEMED is designed to support Appleton Area Students who are experiencing problems with school attendance.
COUNT ME IN Program!
COUNT ME IN is a comprehensive program that addresses all of the attendance needs of your school. This program is designed to be specifically tailored to the needs and resources at your school.
The goal is to ensure that every child and family is supported and encouraged to attend school all day, every day.
REDEEMED Homeless Outreach Ministry
The purpose of REDEEMED Homeless Outreach Ministry is to provide prevention and intervention services to runaway, homeless, and street youth who have been subjected to or are at risk of being subjected to sexual abuse, sexual exploitation. The goal of REDEEMED is to increase young people’s personal safety, social and emotional well-being, self-sufficiency, and to help them build permanent connections with families, communities, schools, and other positive social networks.
