Support of education, financial literacy, health and well-being in the community.

Fund raising through EECU employee and matching donations, use of EECU's Charitable Donation Account, golf tournaments to support programs.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
The Foundation has a three year business plan that projects funding requirements and administrative expenses.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
The Foundation began operations in 2019. Accomplishments include establishing policies and guidelines for operations, quarterly meetings of the Board, establishment of bank accounts and home banking, production of monthly financial statements, development of the Foundation's website and educational materials, implementation of EECU employee payroll deductions for donations and EECU matching contributions. Website and donations by credit/debit card were rolled out in 2020. The Foundation provided two college scholarships in 2020 and provided support to another 501 (c)(3) entity in Granbury, Texas. Three college scholarships were provided in 2021 with money allocated to make contributions to other non-profits in early 2022.
