The mission of Arching Oaks Arts and Culture Center is to raise awareness and promote the artistic and cultural traditions of Japan and to provide its diverse community opportunities for growth of body, mind and spirit through high-quality programming rooted in these traditions.

Japanese Art & Culture

Arching Oaks Art and Culture Center was founded in 2019 with a focused mission of promoting awareness and appreciation for the artistic and cultural contributions of Japan. Located on 20 rural acres in Eustis, Florida, approximately 45 minutes outside of Orlando, the organization’s facilities include two, multi-purpose, education buildings built in traditional Japanese style including one of only four Kyudojos (Japanese archery training space) in the United States, a formal tatami room used for Japanese tea ceremonies, a full-size art studio, a pottery-making area, Japanese gardens with Bonsai trees, acres of walking paths for Forest Bathing (Shinrin Yoku) walks, a large pond with water lilies, and outdoor seating areas for informal gatherings and classes.
