La Cocina provides no-cost mental health and behavioral health services to uninsured Spanish-speaking children and families. By doing this, La Cocina is promoting equity in healthcare systems, particularly as these related to the prevention of family and community violence, childhood abuse and neglect, mental illness, and poverty.

Mil Dias de Amor (1000 Days of Love)

The Mil Dias de Amor program provides infancy and early childhood mental health services to young children and families who have suffered trauma, and/or have a mental health diagnosis.

La Cocina's primary strategy is to utilize social justice principles in the provision of mental health services and supports. This means promoting equity and culturally-relevant services at all levels of care.

We are fully qualified and capable of doing what we intend to do.

La Cocina is Colorado's ONLY organization of its type. As such, and given our unique mission and vision, we feel we have accomplished a lot. To date, La Cocina has served more than 250 Larimer County families.
