What we aim to solve
Our mission is to educate the public regarding bully breeds and help our community members keep their dogs at home instead of having them end up at a shelter. Our passion lies with underrepresented breeds and pit bull type dogs. It is important for us to promote responsible pet ownership, promote spay and neuter programs, advocate against BSL and inhumane activity of dog fighting.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Hello Pitty Rescue
Our Mission:
We are a foster and volunteer-based rescue that focuses on educating the public regarding bully breeds, offering support to dog owners, and promoting adoption. Our passion lies with underrepresented breeds and pit bull type dogs. We devote our personal time to save precious lives and to support the public in any way we can. It is important to promote responsible pet ownership, spay and neuter programs, positive only training, and advocate against BSL and inhumane dog fighting.
To ensure the best home we screen, reference check and home check all potential adopters. Help us by fostering or sponsoring one of our dogs in need!
About Us:
We are a group of volunteers devoted to finding forever homes for unwanted bully breed dogs. No salaries are paid and 100% of donations go towards our mission. We do not have a facility and rely solely on foster homes.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our focus is on educating the public regarding bully breeds and helping our community members keep their dogs at home instead of ending up at shelters. Our passion lies with underrepresented breeds and pitbull-type dogs. It is extremely important to us to continually promote responsible ownership, promote spay/neuter programs, and be advocates against BSL.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We have a two-part Responsi-Bull Program. \n\n-In 2019 we were able to help 20 low-income families go through our Train-A-Pit Program. \n\n-We also have a partnership with Pasados Safe Haven in which we provide free microchips for Pitbull type dogs who utilize their free spay and neuter stations.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Through our Partnership with NorthWest Spay and Neuter wel will be able to spay, neuter and microchip more dogs in the PNW. \nWe have also established a new training partner who will be allowing to enroll families in need in her unlimited monthly classes.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Responsi-Bull Program:\n\nWe are so excited to be working on a revamp of our program to help more families benefit from our Train-A-Pit classes and start offering free spay and neuters to low-income families in the PNW.\n\n- We are in the process of securing a partnership with an excellent trainer in Tacoma, WA who will be offering unlimited monthly classes to our Pitbull type dog owners in need. This will be offered to low-income families and will be covered in full by Hello Pitty Rescue. This will allow us to help more families a year and expands our classes from twice yearly to enrolling individuals monthly.\n\n- We will still be continuing our partnership with Pasados Safe Haven in which we provide free microchips for Pitbull type dogs who utilize their free spay and neuter stations. In addition, we will be providing free spay, neuter, and microchips for low-income families in the area, covered in full by Hello Pitty Rescue. Our goal is to do everything we can until every Pitbull type dog in the greater Seattle area is spayed or neutered!
