What we aim to solve
Pastors are often overworked and have no time for spending one-on-one time with people. They may want to but they cannot figure out how to balance it all. That is where Nourish Ministries steps in and offers ONLY one-on-one support, small groups, and worship experiences aimed to heal the mind and the spirit. We are here to come alongside you and support you.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Pastoral Counseling/Soul Care
Soul Care is the mindful attention given to nourish the mind and spirit of an individual. Nourish Ministries offers sessions to help you work together with a counselor to create an individualized healing plan. Each session will move you closer to your goals with the gentle guidance of your counselor.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Nourish is a verb. In times of famine, there is a need to supply support. During the emotional and spiritual famine, to encourage, to foster, to provide is to nourish. Exodus 17:12 gives a beautiful example of supplying support – “When Moses' arms grew tired, Aaron and Hur brought a stone for him to sit on, while they stood beside him and held up his arms, holding them steady until the sun went down.” Moses was a mighty man of God and yet there were times when he needed the support of his friends. This passage gives us a beautiful example of what this ministry will be – coming alongside our sisters and brothers right where they are at; to hold them up when they are feeling weak and exhausted.
My vision is to meet those in the community that need a space to explore healing through different means. The church is finding that the younger generations are seeking solutions to problems in creative ways, and oftentimes they employ several methods to solve one issue. Having several methods of healing available can give a wonderful opportunity for a person to find true and lasting healing both emotionally and spiritually. These creative ways of nourishing a person’s heart and soul can be what brings them back to faith. An artist person might find their healing through prophetic painting. A person who loves to move might find renewed strength and freedom in dance. There should not be a one-size-fits-all answer to healing the broken-hearted.
And, the vision is that the broken-hearted should not need to fit certain criteria in order to receive help. No matter how big or how small your hurt is – you are welcome. No matter how much money you have in your bank account – you are welcome. No matter where you have been or where you are going – you are welcome. As healing happens, my vision is that those who have experienced the transformative power of God’s love will turn around and share it with the next person. Our prayer is that through this healing experience, ministers will be raised up and sent out.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We aim to address the need for people to be welcomed into a community of friends that are committed to support them through their peaks and their valleys. Through faith-based counseling from ordained ministers, one-on-one sessions are offered for a suggested donation - but, that donation is far from required. Finances should never stand between you and your mental/spiritual health. Small group classes and worship experiences are also offered as a way to find freedom from the hurts of this world.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
As of right now, the organization is a one-woman gig with the support of a beautiful team of board members behind me. I have the education and I have the life experience. Now, we just need the funding to make it all come together.

What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Nourish Ministries has already been offering one-on-one counseling and has been able to meet with several people. The hardest part of moving forward is not having a dedicated space to meet people. This would be our next major step - finding a place that we can call our home.
