Mission

Israeli Flying Aid (IFA) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization (NGO) that delivers life-saving aid to communities affected by natural disasters and human conflicts. IFA is registered as a tax-exempt organization both in Israel and the US. IFA was credited and awarded both nationally and internationally. IFA transcends differences, prejudices, race, nationality, religion and creed. IFA believes that in the clash between justice and international laws, justice prevails, and women and children should not pay the price for being born to one political side or another. Amongst IFA’s previous missions are: Darfur-Sudan, Khartoum-Sudan, Pakistan, Iraq, Indonesia, Haiti, Sri Lanka, Syria (via three different borders), Beirut-Lebanon, Chad and more.

Syria 2011-2018

Back in April 2011, Israeli Flying Aid was one of the first NGOs that delivered aid to women and children in Syria. In order to protect our team members and local contacts, we cannot discuss the particulars of our missions. We have delivered aid into Syria via three different borders.

Humanitarian Diplomacy

IFA’s significant impact of humanitarian work not only saves lives but also creates change in the minds and hearts of Israel's sworn enemies, which leads to trust and cooperation between Israeli civilians (IFA’s professionals) and Muslim victims in hostile countries.

IFA's unique expertise operating in countries that lack diplomatic ties with Israel, allows IFA not only to save lives but to actively open a parallel channel based on “humanitarian diplomacy”, the kind which count as one vote less for the axis of evil at the UN and one vote more in favor of Israel.

IFA's life saving missions in countries that lack diplomatic relations with Israel also build trust and cooperation between Israeli civilians and victims in hostile countries, that not only saving lives but changing them and touching peoples' hearts.

The "Kibbutz" Initiative

IFA has always been sensitive to cultural and religious aspects while operating in the field. IFA's volunteers have been exposed, time and again, to the devastating reality which leads to a vicious cycle of poverty and loss, lack of education, medical care, human trafficking, severe abuse, “rape babies”, abandoned children and orphans. Developing countries face an influx of orphans due to insufficient family planning education, adolescent pregnancy, unreported rape, or cultural and religious prohibitions on adoption and birth control use.

- Empowering all children and helping them become accomplished and valued members of their community.
- Creating a symbiotic environment-medical & educational facilities of the “Kibbutz” will also serve the surrounding communities.
