Mission
Our mission is to promote self-sufficiency and provide assistance to those individuals and families experiencing housing instability. At Almost Home, we prevent and confront homelessness in Adams and Weld County through our Emergency Assistance Programs. Each of our programs are designed to make homelessness rare, brief or one time. Our targeted services help members of our community develop the skills and obtain the resources to reach long-term self-sufficiency.

Homeless Prevention
Our Homeless Prevention Program provides Emergency Assistance and short-term case management to households at risk of eviction or foreclosure as well as to households at risk of utility shut-offs.
Supportive Housing
Our Supportive Housing Programs provide Emergency Assistance and ongoing supportive, home-based case management services to ensure housing stability and long-term self-sufficiency.
Emergency Shelter
Our Family Emergency Shelter provides assistance to families experiencing literal homelessness. While in our Emergency Shelter, families work toward self-sufficiency and securing permanent housing.
Severe Weather Activation Program (SWAP)
Our Severe Weather Activation Program (SWAP) provides motel vouchers to those experiencing literal homelessness during periods of inclement weather.
Street Outreach Program
Our Homeless Street Outreach Program provides engagement and case management to connect people experiencing unsheltered homelessness to housing, shelter, and other critical services.
Respite Housing
Our Respite Housing Program provides quick diversion services for situational homelessness which includes motel vouchers for a 2-week stay (flexible length for households fleeing domestic violence).
Housing Navigation Center (HNC)
Our Housing Navigation Center provides assistance to walk-in participants experiencing housing instability with on-site resource navigation, referrals to our programs and partner organizations, and resources including access to computers, printing, mail services, and food and hygiene kits.
