What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Fiscal Sponsorship Program
For a nominal fee, CNDC provides qualified emerging and transitioning nonprofits with comprehensive fiscal sponsorship, which includes operating under CNDC's 501(c)(3) umbrella, an existing back-office infrastructure, and the support of a team of nonprofit management professionals.
Benefits to CNDC projects in its fiscal sponsor program include financial management and audit, board development,
human resources and benefits administration, grants management, leadership development, fundraising counsel, and liability insurance.
Projects must apply to be accepted into the fiscal sponsor program. CNDC looks for projects that demonstrate a community need, a charitable purpose, strong leadership, clear objectives, a realistic budget, and an ability to attract donors.

Nonprofit Support Services
Nonprofit Support Services provides high quality, reasonably priced administrative services and capacity building to Colorado nonprofits. The first service being offered is accounting and financial advisory services. Other services will be added in the future.
Support Services was developed to address the following issues: Growing requirement for financial transparency and accountability of nonprofits; increasing sophistication, staff time and direct costs required to meet the administrative and financial management demands of operating a nonprofit; funders receiving proposals that lack adequate financial reporting; reporting that does not meet the needs of managers or board members in helping them effectively fulfill their respective roles, and lack of one-to-one coaching or hands-on technical assistance available to managers or boards in administrative matters, including finance.

- We seek individuals from various race backgrounds for board and executive director/CEO positions within our organization.
- We help senior leadership understand how to be inclusive leaders with learning approaches that emphasize reflection, iteration, and adaptability.
- We engage everyone, from the board to staff levels of the organization, in race equity work and ensure that individuals understand their roles in creating culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
