What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

More than 200,000 people live in remote villages along the Sepik River in Papua New Guinea, without access to the only hospital in the region. It is also estimated that 80% of this population suffers from malaria, without access to treatment.

Our programs

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Evacuation Flights

Our floatplanes can turn a 5-7 day trip by dugout canoe into a one hour flight to the hospital.

Population(s) Served
Adults

We are a direct link for the distribution of medicine to remote clinics along the Sepik River. In the past, these services did not exist, or took days, weeks, and even months for the supplies to reach remote clinics by road and canoe. With our floatplanes, we can accomplish this life-saving task in a matter of hours, literally changing the lives of the people of the Sepik River Region.

Population(s) Served
Adults

Our team flies to remote villages along the Sepik River and spends a full day vaccinating children and pregnant women for 11 life-threatening illnesses.

Population(s) Served
Infants and toddlers
Women and girls
