Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Education Program
Pandas International continually works to inform and educate children regarding the Giant Pandas.
We feel children are the best ambassadors for the pandas and frequently get the entire family involved. The more students take an interest in endangered species, specifically pandas, the more likely they will care about them as adults and donate to help them continue to thrive and survive.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Pandas International's ultimate goal is to save the Giant Panda from going extinct. In the end Giant Pandas need to be able to live in the wild without human intervention and they need to be able to continue to grow their population by themselves. Their habitat needs to be preserved and protected. By assisting the Panda Centers in China, Pandas International hopes that one day the Giant Panda will no longer need the assistance from people and will be removed from the endangered species list.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
The reintroduction program is a major strategy for improving the gene pool of the wild Giant Pandas, so Pandas International will continue to support this program with GPS Collars, field radios and equipment.
Education of the public and specifically youth audiences is critical to the goal of Saving the Pandas, so Pandas International has a robust education program, works with schools and youth groups and maintains a high content educational website.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Trust and collaboration with the China Conservation and Research Center is a major Capability for meeting our goals. We also support the• Shaanxi Wild Animal Rescue and Research Center, Louguantai, Xi'an, Shaanxi Province China and The Rangers of
An Zi He Nature Reserve, Sichuan Province
Meigu Dafengding National Nature Reserve, Sichuan Province
