Investing in Youth Through Education

aka National Hispanic Heritage Hall of Honor   |   San Antonio, TX   |  www.hsffe.com

Mission

We are Hispanic-Americans and come from a heritage of God, family, and country that calls us to motivate and empower the next generation. Just as our forebears worked hard to build a better community for the future, we commit our leadership, resources, and efforts to finance scholarships, establish effective relationships with institutions of higher learning, and mentor youth. The National Hispanic Heritage Hall of Honor recognizes those who have used educational opportunities and natural talent to achieve new horizons. We use their stories to inspire students. We harness the power of sport – the discipline of conditioning, the synergy of teamwork, and the challenge of competition – to develop personal skills, self esteem, and integrity.

HSFE Scholarships

In 2021, seven scholarship recipients were identified through HSFE’s partnership with Project STAY. These students graduated from targeted San Antonio public high schools,
and underwent vigorous academic screening to qualify. As entering freshmen, they began university studies in the fall of 2021 in Texas.

In 2021, three exceptional college freshman athletes received HSFE
scholarships and matching financial aid through HSFE’s partnership with Our
Lady of the Lake University (OLLU), to continue their pursuit of academic as
well as athletic achievement.

We have established an enduring legacy through our National Hispanic Heritage Hall of Honor. A public exhibition at Cooper Academy in San Antonio, Texas,  portrays the remarkable lives of some of our Inductees.
