Grow Southeast

Recognizing the economic disparities that contribute to food insecurity, CoAct in partnership with The Office of Commissioner Brooks and The Healthy Tarrant Collaboration, created Grow Southeast. Grow Southeast functions as a community development initiative to incubate community owned urban farms to combat food insecurity. Through our efforts we help each of our farmers create viable business strategies, align their products to customer channels, develop their sites, and explore models to support their social missions.

Our goal is help each of our farms become self sufficient and to build a hub of resources so community members in Fort Worth can easily develop their own urban farms.
