Romanian United Fund

RUF is creating the largest Romanian diaspora philanthropic network. We partner with the most promising organizations in Romania and the diaspora. We work together for maximum results and we support their fundraising efforts to amplify the impact on the people we all serve. We build connections among people and organizations to grow the global network of do-good-ers.

We create powerful programs for the local communities to unite Romanian Diaspora. We implemented a 100 % pass-through funding model, which motivates people to be generous. We are at the fingertips of every member of our growing Global Village of people who care about Romania. We make donations safe, easy, and transparent while enabling people to choose the cause that makes sense for them.

We are a 501(c)3 type organization with an involved Board of Directors, and a Board of Advisors. Our President and Executive Director work with a dedicated core team of volunteers that coordinate the fundraising effort, community partners, and communication efforts. We have a clear, solid organizational structure that bears fruits. We continuously nurture our volunteers to help us grow and reach our mission.

We’ve raised over $1 million, from more than $20,000 donations from over 30 countries. We have 20 community & Diaspora partners. We have a group of more than 100 volunteers, donating thousands of hours of their time and knowledge to our projects. We’ve impacted tens of thousands of lives through the funds raised.
