What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Educating the public, shelters and other rescues. Education is vital to minimize dogs getting lost. 90% of cases we work work the dogs go missing in the first 24 -48 hours of the dogs being adopted and arriving in their new home.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Our rescue personally works to educate the general public, adopters, fosters and workers in the animal welfare industry on the importance of flight risk education. A strong working relationship with shelter partners, rescues and animal control officers allows us to help more lost pets in need. They also make us a trusted emissary for our outreach initiatives. Throughout the years, word of mouth has led to partnerships with numerous agencies that have helped us with additional resources and rescue efforts for the lost and abandoned animals throughout the Tri-State area and beyond.
