What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Be A Friend Project Inc.

The BAFP's programs use empathy, education and peer support to bring hope back to victims of bullying and build kinder communities across the globe.
The BAFP's signature program is the surprise delivery of "Friend Mail" letters of peer support to K-12 victims of bullying to help them stay strong, build confidence and know they are not alone. Friend Mail Recipients receive on average 1,000-2,000 letters & videos of support each, giving as many kids and teens the opportunity to "step into the shoes" of a peer and practice empathy; the greater one's capacity to empathize, the less likely they are to bully.
The BAFP has convened a Teen Kindness-In-Action Board of inspirational Upstanders who work to make a difference in their communities using the BAFP as their conduit. The Teen Board moderates quarterly Webinars open to youth Ambassadors to exchange ideas. The BAFP is the exclusive Licensor to educational entities for the anti-bullying show, "IT'S EASY! The Friend Strong Musical."
