MISSION Beginning with chronic pancreatitis, we are committed to advancing new therapies and accelerating a cure for debilitating and untreatable diseases—within ten years. VISION We envision a world where people afflicted with debilitating and untreatable diseases can count on lifesaving treatments—instead of suffering in isolation without hope. WHO WE SERVE We serve the patients & communities affected by recurrent acute and chronic pancreatitis. Our impact extends to disease research and healthcare, applying innovative financing models to advance new therapies and cures.

Mission: Cure is implementing a strategy to develop effective therapies for pancreatitis in under 10 years. We work with researchers, biotech innovators, pharma companies, government and, of course, patients to advance new research and clinical studies.

- Awarded ​Innovative Practices award for an international data science competition that generated 300 drug repurposing candidates
- Working with biotech Healx’s Rare Treatment Accelerator to develop a therapy for chronic pancreatitis
- Organized & led ​patient panel​ ​at 2018 NIH ​meeting to expedite therapies for pancreatitis
- Presented to more than 15 biotech and pharmaceutical companies on the urgent need for therapies and commercial opportunity; 6 biotech companies now developing treatments

Working to ensure all patients have access to outcome-driven, coordinated care that includes pancreatologist, pain management, nutrition, mental health, and endocrinology.

- Documented and disseminated the lived experience of patients: Designing for Hope and Resilience
- Developed Best-Practices Care Protocol for holistic pancreatitis care, vetted by top experts
- Defined outcomes important to pancreatitis patients
- Developed Virtual Center of Excellence care model for pancreatitis
- Partnering with providers and funders to implement new specialty care model
