Social Distance-SING!

HALO's mobile concert series brings live performance to the community. Known fondly as 'a pair of singers, a piano, and a pickup truck', these concerts provide an up-close experience of opera and classic musical theatre selections featuring un-amplified voices in an open air setting.

This 90-minute walking tour through the heart of historic downtown makes stops at iconic locations, including the home of the playwrights Dorothy and Dubose Heyward, and the spot where opera was first performed in America. Offered on bi-monthly Saturdays throughout the year, this curated adventure is led by a licensed City of Charleston tour guide and gives patrons the opportunity to experience the Holy City from a new perspective.
