HOPE Medical Respite

The HOPE Medical Respite Program, a partnership between Pathways to Housing and Shasta Community Health Center, is designed to support unhoused or at-risk adults during a time of acute medical need. This short-term recuperative care program provides medical care, social services, shelter, food, hygiene, clothing, personal care products, transportation, and more!

The HOPE Medical Respite Program is operated out of Pathways' Hartman House facility, located at 1871 Kenyon Dr., Redding, CA 96001. We also have Scattered Site options available for individuals with pets, family, and other personal needs making a group-living environment unsuitable for them.

The South Market Micro Shelter Community is an 8-unit location designed to house individuals experiencing homelessness.

Each unit is suitable for one individual. We have a case manager available on-site to assist with residents' social service needs. We also provide dinner seven days per week as well as weekly workshops and community meetings.

We are grateful to our partners at United Way of Northern California for helping us make this dream a reality. United Way operates the Micro Shelter facilities, provides hygiene facilities, personal grooming items, food pantry, and laundry services to residents.
