What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

The good news of Jesus Christ is not accessible to two thirds of the world in a language they can understand. But through the universal language of the creative arts, TACO endeavors to reach the least reached of these.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

TACO exists to creatively proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the least reached. We don't just do this in partnership - we do this by invitation. TACO does not strategise where to reach out - we pray and ask God to give us partners whose kingdom extension can be facilitated by what TACO has to offer. And in this way, we have built partnerships and seen churches established in countries in Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia.

With teams in Europe and Western Asia, TACO members learn the local language and become immersed in their art forms. Dramatic presentations of the Scripture stories shared by the major religions are produced and performed. Artists from other countries come to share their art and their stories. We introduce people to the Creator, who by making us in His image has imbued us all with His creativity. And we show them to see the Creator, they just need to look at Jesus.

We do this in partnership with local churches and church planting teams who long to bring these seekers into a community.

TACO is a fellowship of around 40 members around the world, all of whom have their own art form. Some minister together, such as a dance troupe in Colombia or a band in Canada. Others are individual artists and performers, coming together for a TACO outreach in a certain place. These artists raise their own funds in order to serve the least reached, often in far flung places. Zoom allows us to pray and seek the Lord together on a regular basis.

More than 25 churches in Albania have been planted as a result of gathering seekers from TACO outreaches. Churches have formed in the same way - though not to the same number - in Turkey, Kyrgyzstan and Germany. Small churches have been built up in other places.

We have turned our focus to 'new sending nations' - raising up national workers in places that have historically been the recipients, and not the senders, of Christian workers. Turkish evangelists, Ukrainian artists, Colombian dancers, Indian musicians...we rejoice to see each of these empowered by TACO to be sent forth to the least reached in the different nations of the world.
