Mission

RBF is 'Exploring Heroics!' in proactive partnership with authors, artists, and other creators, and in cooperation with other originators and proponents of heroic examination. RBF commits to pursue, publish, promote, and perpetuate high quality heroic literature through a mix of popular, scholarly, and literary works. RBF will pursue the return of true heroism to be shared across the globe with today's readers and tomorrow's leaders.

What we aim to solve

RBF strives to resolve the lack of love for true heroic action. We seek others to join us in Exploring Heroics! with the global community through examination in the written word. We share encouragement of the writing and reading of heroes by putting well-read books into the hands and hearts of all peoples--not just on their shelves. RBF believes the world will be a better place for all if everyone could explore the ideals of heroic values such as loyalty, ethics, courage, steadfastness, credibility, integrity, stewardship, compassion, responsibility, leadership, and love.

Robert E. Howard Changed My Life

A collection of personal essays examining the influence of REH and many of his characters (such as Conan the Barbarian) on the lives of 32 contributors. This first in REH studies to employ such a one-of-a-kind approach has potential to impact the REH and heroic adventure/fantasy writing community in spectacular manner.

THE LOST EMPIRE OF SOL delivers ten of the romantic tales of high adventure known as sword and planet, that mix of the best of science fiction and fantasy that has long thrilled readers of adventure.

Individual Exploration of Heroics

RBF will publish the collected works of individual authors' endeavors to explore the meanings and ramifications of 'heroics' and 'heroism.' Titles will include collections of short fiction, essays, and academic materials. RBF seeks to publish an on-going series of such titles. The projected budget is a per-title estimate.
