Programs and results
What we aim to solve
In order to rescue more dogs, we need foster homes. We are looking into marketing the need on social media and reaching out to our volunteers for help in recruitment.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Rescuing Homeless Retrievers
Fetchin' Retrievers Rescue communicates with area shelters to exit stray retrievers that were not claimed by their owners or adopted by the public. In addition, we accept retrievers from individuals who contact us because they can no longer care for their dogs. We provide veterinary care for every dog, find foster homes to help the dogs adjust again to life with a family, and carefully screen applicants who wish to adopt a rescue dog to ensure the best match.
Partner Program
We have partnered Fetchin' Retrievers Rescue to be available to veterinarians, dog trainers, groomers and other rescue groups as a resource for these professionals and organizations if they encounter dogs in need.
