Rare Disease Research

Haley's Heroes Foundation funds rare disease research for Batten Disease. Batten Disease is a rare and fatal neurodegenerative disease that impacts children. The research we fund range from natural history studies and large animal model studies to bridging financials gaps for researchers working towards clinical trials. The cost of research is high. The access to funding for rare disease research is scarce. The cost of doing nothing ensures death to the children afflicted with Batten Disease.
