MORE THAN ONE ODD!

San Antonio, TX   |  https://inbetweenliving.org/

Mission

Inbetween Living is a humanitarian organization and a charitable foundation that focuses on raising awareness of individuals with autism living with more than one significant disability. Many people with autism are faced with more than just autism as a factor. InBetween Living helps raise a more in-depth insight and address the gap in everyday life issues. In doing so, our organization also supports and targets other disabilities, such as mental illness. We provide awareness, strength, stability, and self-reliance in addition to creating changes for those with autism and coexisting disabilities. Our goal is to help those forced to choose one disability to be able to be supported and live with their multiple disabilities.

Our mission

It is to take 66 days to retrain and promote healing and growth in adults, and families by providing a continuum of care, support, and resources and 24 days to prove the method.

Our program builds a foundation for adults so that they can develop a set of skills and beliefs that lead to self-efficacy. The support we provide includes taking care of each adult's therapeutic counseling, emotional needs, and physical health, providing nourishing meals and recreational activities, helping them develop healthy relationships, and supporting their academic growth. We take a minimum of 90 days to strengthen our clients over time with resources like a safe, structured, caring environment and by teaching them life skills that allow individuals to live healthy, productive lives.
